International Collaborations

PhD students are encouraged to go abroad for a period of at least three months as part of the PhD studies to gain experience outside our local environment. Usually, the student supervisor helps establish contact to an institution of interest.

PhD students with scholarship granted by the University of Rome Tor Vergata for the period spent abroad (at least three months, if authorized) will receive a scholarship increased by 50% for each month of permanence abroad.
A research period abroad of at least three months spent in another European country is a requirement for achieveing the PhD European label.
