Abstract

L’incontro mira a presentare snap4city: la sua struttura, che cosa copre oggi e che opportunità di collaborazione offre a enti di ricerca, industrie e Pubbliche amministrazioni. Questo viene fatto per scenari ed esempi, e fornendo anche indicazioni sulle linee di ricerca aperte e sulle nuove challenge. Al momento snap4city ha dati, processi e servizi su 9 stati in europa, oltre 40 scenari, piu’ di 20 organizzazioni e installazioni autonome, rimanendo completamente al 100% open source ma lasciando che i contributi di terzi siano anche proprietari.

Speaker’s Short Bio

Paolo Nesi is full professor at the University of Florence, working at DINFO, Department of Information Engineering as Chair of DISIT Lab. Since 2011, he is also a member of the scientific committee of CSAVRI of the University of Florence, and referent of the APRE Toscana for the University of Florence. He founded and is at present responsible of the DISIT research group and LAB. The work he has carried out in such different fields has been appreciated in different ways. Paolo Nesi is a member of IEEE , ACM, AIIA, ICPR.
