Abstract

In this seminar, we will delve into some recent results achieved in the field of software testing. By leveraging code instrumentation and symbolic execution techniques, we can extract valuable insights into the operation of microservice applications through a comprehensive battery of tests. This information can be effectively synthesised through sophisticated logic programming techniques to determine the degree of similarity between tests. This similarity information allows us to orchestrate tests to minimise testing time while optimising code coverage. We believe that the applications of these methodologies also hold potential for other research areas. During our presentation, we will explore some of these possibilities to engage in a discussion that allows for possible interaction to achieve new research results.
