I am full professor at the Department of Civil Engineering and Computer Science Engineering of Tor Vergata University of Rome, Italy.
My research interests are in the field of distributed software systems and services, including Cloud and Edge systems and services, resource management and self-adaptation, quality assurance.
I am currently Associate Editor of IEEE TPDS and Elsevier JPDC.
I teach and have taught courses in distributed systems, Cloud computing, Big Data, computer architecture, and Web engineering.
I am a member of the DAMON research group.

My current research interests focus on:

Runtime management and self-adaptation of workflow applications (microservices, stream processing)
Serverless computing in the Edge-Cloud Continuum
