I am a Full Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and Computer Science Engineering at the Tor Vergata University of Rome, Italy.
My research interests lie in the field of distributed software systems and services, including Cloud and Edge computing, resource management, self-adaptation, and quality assurance.
I currently serve as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems and the Journal of Parallel and Distributed Computing.
I teach and have taught courses on distributed systems, Cloud computing, Big Data, computer architecture, and Web engineering.
I am a member of the DAMON research group.

I contribute to the distributed system and computer systems performance evaluation communities by reviewing papers for high-quality journals (including ACM TAAS, ACM TOSEM, ACM Computing Surveys, IEEE/ACM TON, IEEE TMC, IEEE TPDS, IEEE TSC, IEEE TWC, Computer Networks, Journal of Systems and Software).
